I use motion graphics, illustration, animation and video to produce engaging, easy to understand training and promotional content. By using clear visual communication, I'm able to bring abstract concepts and ideas to life.

One of the biggest advantages in holding a BFA in animation is the diverse skill set it has helped me acquire. The production process I was responsible for involved creating storyboards, preparing artwork in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, capturing and editing video and audio, and encoding the final piece. Not only did this provide me experience with a variety of media and techniques, but it also built a strong project management foundation.

I have also been responsible for the complete design of several training products. This includes writing and publishing a pocket field guide on combustion safety testing that has been adopted by multiple national energy efficiency programs, a video series on operating the company phone system, and an internal SharePoint training that consisted of one hundred videos in total. As a central service to the company, I was also responsible for filming and editing video of summits held by our marketing department, filmed company messages from both the President and CEO of CSG, and edited a commercial that was aired on local television for one of our northwest programs.

I currently work at Liberty Mutual as a Senior eLearning Specialist, where I help expand our training products through a mix of motion graphics and recorded video.
